Six Questions Arrows Template

These six questions are perhaps my simplest and most powerful model. I find almost everyone understands it intuitively and is more than happy to answer the questions, especially Where, Why, and Who which are seldom asked, generally assumed or given. But the cause for many intractable or expensive problems have their solution in these unasked and unanswered questions.

Have some fun. Play with the stem diagram at the bottom of the page. The top diagram is an example of using the bottom stem. Feel free to click of some of the nodes in the upper diagram to learn about the biochemistry of the leaf or flower.

While dynamically creating a diagram with folks in Arizona I discovered an attractive evolution from six questions to a stem that grows its own branches, leaves, and flowers. If you work outward from the stem you will have a coherent system. If you try to collect leaves and flowers to make an plant you may end up with a botanical Frankenstein.

Here I am providing the stem below for replanting.

The FedWiki team is building tools that will allow such plants to live in gardens and ecosystems, cross pollinating and supporting one another. We are building a property graph database for the FedWiki and tools for system gardening--planting, pollinating, grafting, harvesting, etc.
